Jenna Compton moved to Louisa in the second grade. And while she holds her Northern West Virginia roots dear to her heart, Louisa is, beyond a doubt, her home. She is a fifth grade teacher at Louisa East Elementary School, where she’s taught reading for two years. She has also taught at Lawrence County High School and Blaine Elementary School. She’s been teaching for a total of seven years! She is currently working on her Rank 1 and National Board Certification in reading. She is mama to precious baby Finn and wife to awesome daddy Ramsey, who works for Marathon Petroleum.
Jenna can still remember those early childhood days attending Sunday services at Walnut Grove Methodist Church, the church of her upbringing. At 13, she became a follower of Christ at a youth festival in Ashland. This encounter with God changed Jenna forever. Jenna is elated to be a part of The Table, and to develop a living relationship with her faith that she can bring home to her family.
